Nathan A. Gaffney

Nathan is a partner and trial attorney at Fried Goldberg LLC. He joined the firm after practicing for several years as a defense attorney specializing in the defense of catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. He also served as appellate counsel on the national trial team for one of the largest professional liability insurers in the country.

Throughout his legal career, Nathan has successfully tried a variety of cases from criminal matters to personal injury cases. In 2015, Nathan had the honor of successfully representing the Council of State Court Judges of Georgia before the Supreme Court of Georgia and was awarded the Guardian of Justice for his efforts.

A native of Atlanta, Nathan graduated magna cum laude from Georgia State University’s College of Law. While in law school, he served as the Executive Editor of the Georgia State Law Review and as a judicial extern for both the Supreme Court of Georgia and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. After law school, Nathan worked as a law clerk for a state court judge and then later as a public defender before embarking on a career in civil litigation.
