Drew C. Timmons
An experienced truck accident lawyer who knows how to get results
Drew is a trial attorney at Fried Goldberg LLC, representing individuals who have suffered a severe injury or lost a family member due to the negligence of others. Although Drew focuses his practice on collisions caused by commercial motor vehicles and tractor trailers, he has a wealth of trial and appellate experience in all aspects of personal injury litigation, including premises liability, construction accidents, professional malpractice, and insurance coverage disputes.
Drew has been selected by his peers as a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2016 to 2022, an honor reserved for the top 2.5% of eligible attorneys.
Prior to joining Fried Goldberg, Drew was a partner at the largest litigation-only defense firm in Georgia. He spent 15 years representing trucking and logistics companies, healthcare systems, and insurance carriers in the defense of personal injury claims. In that role, Drew tried and obtained successful verdicts in numerous personal injury cases in front of juries, judges, and arbitration panels. He has also handled appeals of jury verdicts and judgments in the Georgia Court of Appeals and Supreme Court of Georgia. Drew’s years of experience analyzing risk for large corporations is crucial to his identification of the key issues in your case which can highlight its true value and convince a jury to award the damages you deserve.
Drew grew up in Peachtree Corners, GA. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Furman University in Greenville, SC in 2005, and graduated with Honors (cum laude). He received his Juris Doctorate from the Georgia State University College of Law in Atlanta in 2008, also with Honors (cum laude). While in law school, Drew competed for and earned a spot on the Moot Court Board for appellate advocacy and received recognition for his performance in Evidence and Trial Tactics courses taught by Paul Milich, a leading authority on Georgia’s evidence code and the author of the Georgia Rules of Evidence, and the Courtroom Handbook on Georgia Evidence.
Drew and his wife, Louise, have two daughters and live in the Castlewood neighborhood of Atlanta. Drew is the current Assistant Clerk of the Session of his church, Trinity Presbyterian, and he takes turns teaching a Foundations Sunday School class with some of his peers. Drew uses his legal experience to assist the Georgia Justice Project in its pursuit of criminal record restriction for those re-entering society after incarceration, and he regularly participates in charity events for the Boys and Girls Club of Atlanta. He is also an avid runner and bird hunter, and he loves to be outside with his girls.
